More info on the ignition problem

So I decided to let the car sit for about 4 days and not drive it because of how crappy it was running.

I fired her up today and it ran like a champ

In my recent posts I described how I thought the opti was bad as the car would miss and stumble.

I replaced the wires but the problem persisted

After about a little bit of driving, and some wide open passe the problem started to come back a little bit, but not as bad as its been

I was thinking that maybe when the wire was burnt that it possible fouled up the plug, since I had to drive it about 150 miles with it that way.

When an optispark goes, is the problem concrete, or does it come and go?

I'll probably pull the plug tomorrow and then get it checked out by a local mechanic
