missfiring problems????
me and a couple of friends put a new distributer on saturday and it was running fine. It was stumbling on high rpms. so the next morning(sunday) i put brand new spark plugs. I took it out for a drive accelerating slowly when i hit around 70-75 it started to miss fire..it was stumbling real bad...so i slowed down to 50mph and it still did it. so i pulled over and let it idle for a few minutes then my car just turned off. I turned it back on and it was idling up to 1300rpms and came back down to normal..it did that for about a minute....what do you all think?
someone told me that i might need to get a lt4 knock module
my mods are LT headers,x-pipe,lt4 hot cam kit,msd wires,msd box,ngk tr5s....

From what I can tell, there are other issues with your car Z28camaroSS, not plugs. Unless there's a broken plug, Id look elsewhere to fix the problem. I know the opti is good since we installed it correctly in the proper slot, and you made sure the wires were all correct on the opti. Hell, Im stumped and know how frustrating it can be tracking down ignition problems. But you'll figure it out.
TR6's are used mainly for nitrous to reduce detonation on spray. I used TR55's on my old setup running the LE2.2 cam on stock heads and 11.7 SCR. There's no need to go with TR6's with his steup, IIRC he's running the hotcam on stock heads, so CR is still stock as well. This is a great reference for plugs over on the Nitrous section.
