Camaro wont start

OK, so I just got it out the shop bc of a missfire. That is fixed. All excited!

Well today I go to joy drive her and wont turn. Lights turn on, no crank. I checked starter fuse etc. Quick search people are saying the VATS. But it was fine before. I can hear the fuel pump turn on etc.

Any ideas?

Cory

Does it make a clicking noise when it should be cranking? Do the lights dim?

Re: Camaro wont start

The fuel pump won't turn on unless VATS is successful.

What does the volt gauge on the dash read when you turn the key to "start"? Have you checked the battery cable terminals, and the wires themselves for corrosion?

Re: Camaro wont start

I would check the battery terminals/cables for corrosion. It doesn't take much to interfere with the huge current flow required to power the starter.
