I have a 93 FORMULA with minor mods... CAI , Cat BaCK (GUTTED cAT)52 mm TB, Hypertech Chip (which is not in the car right now) It has a Miss that occurs At Wide open Throttle ...Sounds Like a pop . And Breaks down Heard, Almost Feel like it Stutters and dosent wanna shift with the surge...THIS PROBLEM IS MUCH WORSE WhEN CAR GETS WARM...Also has 160 T-stat. CaR IS also Running Rich....I was thinking plugs and wires And a coil ... because i have learned that with ****ty wires the resistance can mess the coil up , and besides its a 60 $ part. But in my Mind of all the Horror Stories of the OPTI CRAP could this be the prob. ? Any Input is helpful.

I think a bad opti would give you grief at partial throttle too. I'd start with the basics and make sure your plugs and wires are all in good shape. A clogged fuel filter could fuel starve your car under WOT.
