Ok, I bought some ported heads off this board that I'm really unhappy with.
I'll leave that to another post, but here's my problem now.
The intake won't fit on the heads with or without the gaskets. I was wondering if there was a way to figure out how much it needed to be milled so that everything will line up.

I don't know of a calculator for this, but it's relatively simple trigonometry. Figure out how much the intake needs to drop vertically, then use the angle of the head face to figure out how much material needs to be removed. Or you could do it with scale drawings. Draw the block and heads, draw the intake, and overlay them in the final position you want. Measure the overlap, add the gasket thickness, and take that much material off. Ditto for the bottom surfaces, leaving room for RTV.
Are you worried about port alignment? Or, is the problem simply that the intake will set on the motor ok, but the bolt holes don't line up?
If the bolt holes are just off 1/8" or so with gaskets, and the gap between intake and block at front and rear is not too huge, you could just slot the bolt holes. However, you must first make sure the ports will line up correctly between the heads & intake. If not, maybe milling could improve the alignment.
Ideally, match the ports after the part alignment is figured out.

Problem with that link is that I don't know how much the heads were milled, I didn't think it was much at all. Didn't seem like there was much if any gap between the intake and the block or the heads, the bolt holes just didn't line up. For port alignment check:
Tape a piece of thin paper to the head, and rub the port edges to make an imprint.
Set the intake on, and make 'match marks' on both the paper and the intake.
Cut out the port outlines.
Put the paper on the intake, with the marks aligned. Now you can see how it all lines up.
