Mas air flow sensor

I bought my car two years ago and it has no mas i asked the local shop guy and he said he didnt know why i dont have one. Is there something i dont know? Or is he just stupid

Because 93s were speed density?

93s do not have a MAF because they run a Speed/Density tune. Air/fuel management is based on MAP, IAT, optispark (for RPM). The computers and management was switched in 1994 to MAF based.
