Manual Rack and Pinion question.
Manual Rack and Pinion question.
So i just got a BMR Manual Rack and Pinion setup. Going to put it on right now and just ran into a little dilemna. When i remove the power rack and pinion and put in the manual i'm going to be removing all the power steering lines. What do i do for the power steering pump because i need to have the pulley in place for the belt setup, do they make just a pulley setup that can go there, or do i use a different belt? Any help would be appreciated.
With only the alternator, you can relocate it and use a bracket like this (see bottom of page):

There are less expensive versions available.

The actual wiring varies from year to year, and you haven't told us anything about your car. Adding a "signature" is a good idea - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. That way people can give you accurate answers without guessing.
Here's a 95 alternator wiring diagram, courtesy of Shoebox. He has 93 and 96 LT1 wiring diagrams as well.

The alternator is even simpler than described above.
