Unhappy manual fan switch broke...help...

the other day i was dis-engaging my T.C.S. switch, which is also where i put the manual fan switch, next to it. when i started to work the T.C.S. out of its slot i pulled the 2 middle wires right out from the inside of the slp switch i don't think there is any way to repair this, and i've gone to many places to try and find this type of switch, most switches have the male prongs where the slp swith has the female ports.
the slp came with 6 ports and most 3 way switches have three prongs, can i splice the wires and weld to the prongs?
i don't know if this will work
thanks for the help

you need a 3 way dpdt switch. They have the prongs you need to hook up the wiring. They are like $5 at radio shack.

yeah, i am not exactly sure how the slp switch is wired up. But most of the guys who make their own fan switch use this method. The center off DPDT switch has 6 prongs and will work for high and low speed on the fans. Just go into the switch section at radio shack. The switch i got says Center-Off Auto Flip switch. and then under that it says Heavy Duty DPDT prongs. It wasnt very much, $5 or so.
