Question Oil leaks with Canton 7 quart pan

I have had a Canton 7 quart pan on my car since I built my 383 stroker about a year ago. This thing has always leaked a fair amount of oil. Has anyone been successful in getting one of these pans to stop leaking? I am ready to drop it (as much as possible) and change the gasket and silicone the hell out of it. Of course I probably won't be able to completely remove it even with a tubular k-member. Anyone have any ideas?

I am pulling my motor tomorrow because of the piece of SH*T Canton pan. I called them up and told them it was leaking from 2 of the welds. They told me to send it to them and they would verify it was their fault. If so they would send me a replacement. Till then my car would be down. Screw that, 400 bucks for the setup and it leaks. DONT EVER BUY ONE OF THESE PEICES OF SH*T. AND IF YOU DID RETURN IT IF YOU CAN. SCREW THEM AND THEIR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Yeah this sucks. Although I heard that others pans are just as bad. Combination Motorsports relayed that they had trouble with them as well. They recommended staying with stock as it's the only one that doesn't leak. Of course my machine shop recommended a larger capacity pan when using a high volume oil pump. Maybe I'll buy a stock pan and weld a coffee can to it

yup, mine doesn't leak anymore... I pulled it off, put it in the corner. No oil in it, no leak

I went back to the stock pan.
