make your own delteq?

make your own delteq?

i just aquired 8 coils from a 5.3 motor from a yukon i just swapped a motor in

is there any way i can make this into a delteq system relatively cheap

the coils the system uses is from a Cadillac Northstar. The ICM and Starndard GM two post coils. Not sure how they combined the systems.

You would need the opti box.... If you could get that, all you'd need is the ICM, coil packs and all the wiring.

Can't build a Delteq with those coils. Delteq functions in waste-spark mode, firing two cylinders at a time - one on the compression stroke and one on the exhaust stroke. You would need 4 dual-tower coils.

As noted, you need to duplicate the Bailey LTCC. You need a full 8-channel direct fire system to support 8 coils. One way to get around the LTCC box.... buy a MoTeC M800 ECU and add their IEX 8-channel ignition driver. About $4,000.

yeah... so ill just scrap that idea
