Make or break time

Well i picked up the head gasket this morning and right now i am about to install the head bolts. My new Felpro head bolts don't have loose washers like the stock ones did. They just have washer things as one part of the bolt if you know what i mean. Is this okay?

Also, i will probably have to use a universal when i am getting to some of the bolts below the spark plugs. How do i ensure I have torqued them correctly?

Any last words of advice or encouragement?

the washers are built into the bolts, no need for a seperate loose washer.

Won't the universal work with your T wrench?

If you have any concerns about that, I would contact an engine builder and get an opinion. I guess the std tq for stock bolts is 65#s. The bolts you are going to use should have a particular torque spec.

Be sure and torque them in the recommended sequence for optimum assurance.JMHO
