ok got my car scaned, tps and maf ?!

ok got my car scaned, tps and maf ?!

ok the scanner said mass air system failure, should i just go with a stock one? and it said tps too high, anyone heard of this?

I remember someone else who had that problem...ended up being a blown fuse. I would check that first.

Assuming you got DTC 48 for MAF circuit failure, could be the MAF sensor, or it could be the wiring, or a fuse. Key on, check between the pink wire and the black/white wire in the in the MAF harness connector. Should get 12V. If thats OK, check the connector and MAF for damaged pins. If its still OK, borrow a "good" MAF sensor and see if it works.

Assuming you got DTC 21 for high TPS voltage, the code sets when the TPS voltage exceeds 4.9V for one second. Put a volt meter across the black and gray wires, and check for 5.0V reference voltage. Then measure across the black and the blue signal wire. Closed throttle voltage should be in the range of 0.25-0.90V. Rotate the throttle blades slowly to full open, and the voltage should increase smoothly with no spikes, and not exceed 4.9V at WOT. A blown fuse will not set this code.
