I currently put a flowmaster muffler on... and ever since i got it back i hear this rattling noise from like right under me or under the shifter... only in low rpms it'll rattle and when i take off in first....its annoying the hell outta me.....

I've read some other forums and there sayen maybe its the cat...?

any advice would be great ....

 

If there is any rattle on your car, there is a 90% chance that it is your exhaust system. It could very well be your cat.

 

Make sure all your pipes aren't tapping anything under there, and that all your welds were done well. Next thing to check is the Cat, because when they start to go out the insides of them start to rattle real bad, and cause a pretty good power loss.

 

I know my dad's exhaust is clamped and that **** loosens itself and freakin' rattles at lower RPMs...If it isn't welded then do it...that's what I keep telling him.

well i turned my car on and as it started to rattle i lifted the exhaust alittle with my hand and i believe its hitting the cross member.... how do i solve this ?
