MAF Sensor/Throttle Body

Was thinking about getiing a Granatelli Motorsports MAF sensor and maybe a 58mm throttle body.(1) How are Granatelli Motorsports stuff and who makes a nice 58mm body?(2)My car is stock except for the Magnaflow Catback and Moroso CAI. Would this even be worth it? Thanks
Also,if you have any opinions on any other companies that makes these products that you like, please let me know .

throttle body not needed or wont help you much unless you do alot to your engine IE port out intake .....i am goin to purchase a MAF soon.. alot of ppl get Granatelli i think i am goin to try the ZO6 85mm... its at LS1speed.com... says tuned for LT1 but its cheaper and adds more HP... but get a air foil LMperformance.com has a SLP one (i bought it) for 30bux it will help a lil..

You don't need a 58mm TB-get headers instead.

Interesting. I have read mostly the opposite. I guess it can work on some cars.

that's alot of cash to throw down on VERY minimal gains for an almost stock setup...that's damn close to (if not more than) $500...

For the same amount of money you could get a set of nice headers and actually tell the difference...

It's my understanding that they "calibrate" the Granatelli MAF sensor by sandblasting the resistors in it. Always been my understanding that no two are the same. Alot of people seem to run into tuning issues with the 58mm throttle body also. I say spend your money elsewhere.

Headers would benefit you alot more than making your intake flow a handful better.

Instead of the Granatelli why not just buy the MAF ends? But I agree with everyone else. Headers is the way to go.

You could install a hot cam kit for the cost of the GMAF and 58 TB.
That would be a REAL set of the pants increase.
