LTCC user, a question on spark wires.

I plan to mount my coils on the valve covers, as shown in many pics I have found. My question is if the stock wires from a LS1 Z28 will work? Or am I going to need longer wires for sure?

I have my LS1 coils mounted on my valve covers and there is no way I can run stock Ls1 wires. You best bet it to buy a set of wires and cut them to the proper length. Also when you order the wires make sure they have opti ends.

Where is the best place to buy the wires from? Anyone have a part number for them?

I purchased my MSD wires through Summit.

Were they cut to fit? Or just longer ones?

Do you have a part number of these?

Apparently there has been some problems when running MSD 8.5 Superconductors with the LTCC....apparently Magnacore work better.

Might want to try a different brand than MSD just as a precaution.

My magnecors are appr. 5" longer than LS1's. I told him what length I wanted, and that is what he gave me, right from magnecor. A rubber hose works well to determine the length you need.
