LTCC help

Well everything is hooked up correctly, but Im getting a 2 and 3 blink. Ive emailed Bob and he is trying to help me, but I thought Id post here and see what yall say. Being Im getting a 2 and 3 blink Im guessing its the optical sensor in the opti. I had to get one from a junkyard since mine detonated at 7k. Just want some opinions before I run out and buy a new one.

During cranking it pops back thru the intake and just wont start. The odd thing is yesterday it did start and I didnt have these errors. The autolites are black as can be, so Ill be changing them. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Well Im still trying to figure this thing out. The weird thing is if I clear all the codes it will start and run for a few seconds. After that it wont do anything but crank. My codes on the LTCC box are never the same. Sometimes I get a 1 blink, sometimes I get the 2 and 3 or just the 3 by itself. Im in the process of trying a different opti in case the optical sensor wasnt working. Would be done already, but Im missing the T8 to undo the rotor screws lol.

Are you getting any codes in the PCM? Since the Opti is still hooked to the PCM, you would get codes for optical sensor failure.

re

I talked to Clyde, the opti I gave you was set up for the LTCC and it was the same for the fast and the stock computer. All Clyde could say was tighten the bolts and loctite them. Hope you nail it Art

Couldnt pull any codes since it would only crank. I found a ground in the plug to the stock ICM and ran it to the block and it fired right up. Was just a guess on my part and I knew I was getting the signal from that plug. Wouldnt idle on its own, but the plugs were pretty fouled so Ill change them tonight and see what happens.
