LT4 time question

Ok so I got a LT4 conversation Ram-air LT1 car. It's got a 58mm throttle body, ramair, stock manifolds, catback, 3.73 and it's an auto. I should be able to get a 12.8 outta this combo correct? It's also got sub-frames and LCA's

You're not getting the full benefit of the conversion without upgrading the exhaust. But you can run a 12.8 with only 350flywheelHP, so it should do a bit better than that. I'd say 12.5 assuming it hooks.

Do you have a good "tune"? Who did it?

You really need to follow the rule about not "TTT" more than once in 24 hours.

Do you really have the LT4 conversation, I was thinking of the LT4 conversion myself, but just a good conversation "outta be able to run dem 12.8's", right?

BTW- I have seen many LT4 fbody's/vette's run 13.5's some faster, some even slower, your car might have potential to go faster then you acutally run.

I wouldnt tell your buddy's thats what it'll run, because too many factors that you dont know concern that. Track prep, DA, driving skills (getting the car to really leave hard w/out tire spin, even a slightly slipping tranny), etc.

Just take her out and see what she has, dont race websites

You really need to get a set of headers to see some good gains out of that package. I don't know how well it would do on the stock manifolds, they are really going to restrict your engine now. You will see some really big gains now going with headers though. Shorties, LT's anything but those stock manifolds

You also might want to go to a high stall convertor for max performance.
