LT4 sitting in 97 T/A in junkyard (PHX, AZ)
MAJOR UPDATE:
Called the junkyard and instructed them to remove the intake and heads. Gathered up my money and headed over there. Upon further inspection I do not believe this was an LT4, and refused purchase of LT1 parts. Several of you properly identified key items to check for...
WHY?
I was confused initially with the red intake., but as mentioned above, some people simply paint their intakes red. On the top of the intake, the ribs were painted white over the red paint. I compared my LT4 intake, and they are etched free of paint and are aluminum. Also, I checked the heads and immediately determined that LT4 heads don't use 1.5 stamped-steel rockers.
I refused to purchase them.

it would've been nice if you identified it correctly before you had them remove the heads and intake for you. It didn't have to be disassembled to identify it as an LT1. They'll be that much less likely now to remove parts for the next customer without cash in hand.
Wow, if I was the guy who pulled those parts I've be looking for your address right now. I bet he's probably at home right now beating his wife and yelling at her telling her about how pissed off he was at work today, because he had to tear an engine apart for some ahole that didn't even want to buy it.
