What is "a 383 LT4 setup"?..... A true LT4 engine stroked to 383? A stroked LT1 with LT4 heads/intake? Stock LT4 heads or ported LT4 heads?

Really not clear.... except that this kind of post belongs on "LT1 Tech"...... moving it there.

This is in the wrong forum but.......

Puchased in a complete car:
383, LT4 heads with a valve job but no porting. 224/236 XE cam. Longtubes, elec wp, 52mm tb ect.

368 rwhp <- barely pulls on my camm'd lt1, boo

Ported AFRs with a Bauer spec'd cam on the way to remedy that

A 383 with unported LT4s is a bigtime waste of funds for the results you'll get. I'm not a fan of the LT4 conversion period. PORTED LT4 conversion, thats a whole different story

Well,I am thinking along the lines of a 383 Lt1 block with the More performance LT4 top end package, either ported or unported.I'm not looking for an ungodly amount of horsepower. But my daily driver is a Ford Focus and I want my weekend warrior to have a lil more than stock lol.So I'm just comparing my options right now. Thanks guys and sorry for putting this in the wrong forum and being kinda shady first time.
