LT1 will not run. Help.

I have installed a LT1/T56 in my 87 Camaro. Everything is connected except for IAC and the car will not run. I am getting spark, compression, and fuel, and the car will crank, start for about 5 seconds and runs only if it is at WOT, and then dies the when I back off the throttle.

Where is the VATS 16 pin connector? I cant find it. That may be a problem. I dont know.

Anybody ever had similar problems?

I dont think so, because like I said, even when it does run, it runs like crap, so I dont think that would help. Im kinda loosing my patience with the car. Do you think a ball-peen hammer might take care of it?
