Just to make sure everything is clarifiied on this, there really is no such thing as an f-body LT4 exhaust manifold. All LT4 Firehawks & SSs had LT1 f-body exhaust manifolds that were extrude honed, which flow about the same as 96-97 shorty headers. Also, they were not stainless steel.
The exhaust manifolds on my LT4 SS car # 91 were in fact stainless steel.

Wierd, guess that's another one of those SLP "let's change something in the middle of a production run" deals. Mine are standard cast iron with heatshields that have been extrude honed. Of course, it's not a big suprise for them to change something like that, similar to them changing the Firehawk hoods mid year in 97 from the original Firehawk hood to the WS6 hood.

I am jealous. your car is sick. You have exactly what I would want except my body. What did it cost to restore your car to that extent? 100k? That intake is ridiculous and the duel fuel system and everything is beautiful. wow

Yes.... LT1 F-Body headers work with LT4 heads. My AS&M mid-lengths bolted up OK to my LT4 heads. From a performance point of view, a 1-3/4” primary is preferable to 1-5/8”, if that's what your shorties are.
