Lt1 Tuning

Alright guys here's what's up. I have a 95 TA. I have alot of motor work done. But the problem is I need to get it tuned. It's running really lean. Is there anything out there that I could buy to tune it my self? Like out of Summit or something. Cause it's really running bad . Thanks

Re: Lt1 Tuning

You can tune it using software from LT1_Edit and TunerCat. Just need the software and a cable (available from AKM Electronics).

There are also a couple of very good mail order tuners on this forum who can do a great job for reasonable $$.

Re: Lt1 Tuning

Tuning can greatly benifit a STOCK car, once you finally tune a modded one you are going to be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner. To be honest judging by the fact you put tuning off this long I am going to guess you do not have the knowledge to tune it yourself. I don't mean to offend you or anything just stating an observation. If you knew how to tune a motor you would not have put it off because you would already know the benifits of it.
You could learn to tune it but in the meantime I recommend pcmforless.com or madz28.com either can hook you up with a CUSTOM tune for less than just the tuning software will cost you without a cable or datalogger. Tunercat.com is half the cost of the above linked LT1 Edit and still more than a custom tune. As far as Summit or the like They will only have CRAP like Hypertech even if they did do good tuning which they don't even for a stock motor the cost is way out of line.

Yeah, I saw three and thought you had posted LT1 Edit, AKM, and Datamaster. I had a couple windows going and must have not kept the threads straight .

Something change on forum I thought this forum automatically recognized web addresses or is it a setting I have to do in my profile?
