LT1 T56 trans mount

How come I cant seem to find a part number for the energy suspension trans mount that I have on my car currently? I broke mine and was looking for a replacement, and I can only see up to 1992 and it skips to 1998. leaving out 93-97 everywhere I look. I remember getting it from autozone, so I picked up one from them today and their site says it wont fit my car.

its a 3.1108G

looks to be the same thing I have already.

Re: LT1 T56 trans mount

There was a bit of a controversy over the excessive height of that part #, compared to the stock mount height. I suspect ES pulled the 93-97 cars out of the application chart to avoid potential claims.

Shoebox shows the difference.

I've had the same mount under three different trans setups in my car over a period of 15 years and never had a problem of any kind that I could relate to the ES mount.

Re: LT1 T56 trans mount

I had he Ls1 mount under my m6 for 6 years never an issue, dragstrip and syreet driving they have ALOT less vibration than the ES mount. Since I am doing a new set up and a new car I now have ES motor mounts and trans mount.
