LT1 start up problems

LT1 start up problems
When I start up my car the ses light is on and idles like crap. It's hard to keep running and if you give it any throttle it's like a delayed reaction. It will die and cranks right back up with no ses light and runs fine. I have used the free scan it's not showing any codes. Any ideas?

It's easier for us to provide accurate responses if we know the detail of your specific vehicle. Not all years of the LT1 are the same, particularly with regard to scanning the PCM.
