Just curious. Will an Lt1 run with one cylinder not firing at all?

 

Yes, I have proven this personally with a burnt plug wire. Feel the power of the V7...

Someone even suggested to pass smog test with 2 unplugged injectors

 

Mine ran on 7 cylinders when the #8 wire fell off the plug the very first day I drove the car with the headers done.

 

Ive run on 3-4 once, while it wasnt really driveable, it ran....sort of....

 

my bro drove 300miles on the highway on 7 cylinders... with MY TA.

 

I didn't even really notice the difference except when I came to a stop. Then it would start pulsing. Pulley ate one of my plug wires

It will run on a lot less. Just start unplugging the connectors on the injectors to find out.

 

I ran on 7 cylinders for a month
I thought i just had a high rpm miss and my opti was going bad. When i finally got off my butt to check it, i found a wire had come completely off..oops
We couldnt believe the car ran as well as it did with 7 cylinders, they thought I was joking about the wire being off

 

If you unplug the injector supposedly it wont run too badly.. I swear mine still ran/sounded like crap when I tried it though (after burning a wire)

 

i have ran on 6 and 7 because my headers keep burning through them

 

i smoked my buddy's WRX (auto) with 7 cylinders.
