LT1 Ram air stuff from SLP

I was just curious if anyone knew if the hoods that SLP sell are the same as the ones available through GM since SLP did the WS6 96-97?

Thanks, One more question. Did you use GM " Ram Air "stickers?

If you did do they come with a template to space them?

The hood is essentially the same one. I compared mine side-by-side to one from the factory on a Comp T/A, and there were no visible differences.

If you buy the SLP airbox, it is identical to stock WS6, except if does not have the "Ram Air" and "Pontiac" logo's cast into the plastic cover, and it does not have the one-piece rubber gasket stuck to the top cover. Instead, it includes some loose, hollow rubber gaskets that can be attached to the hood or airbox.

As far as the "stickers", my personal preference was to use the "Ram Air HO" stickers that came with the SLP hood, since it seemed more honest than putting the "real" Ram Air stickers on, but like I said, that's just a personal preference.
