Question LT1 to LS1 injectors

Will the LS1 injectors swap for the LT1 injectors ? I keep seeing the 26lb. LS1 and 28lb. LS1/ZO6 injectors on Ebay, with some advertised as " a great upgrade for an LT1." However, the coil on these injectors looks a lot smaller, so I'm wondering if the impedance is different. In other words, if you install a set in an LT1, will the drivers for the injectors in the ECU get fried

the reason they are rated higher on the ls1s is because they are higher pressure system then lt1s......they are pretty much same incjector.

If you do a search in this forum or just look back in the past 10 or so pages you will find some recent posts with a lot of good info about doing this swap.

I plan on replacing my stockers with some LS1/6 injectors here soon, so I'll post on how I make out.

98, 01-02 LS1 injectors are 28.8lb/hr
99-00 LS1 Injectors are 26.4lb/hr
ZO6 is 28.4lb/hr

All of these are at 4 bar pressure (58psi). The LT1 uses 3 bar (43.5psi). If you take a stock LT1 24lb injector and run it at LS1 pressure, you'll have 28lb/hr injectors. If you install an LS1 injector in you LT1 at the stock pressure, you'll have 24lb.

Doing this swap will work, but get you exactly 0 increase in flow, and thats if you go w/ the 28. A waste of $$.

So if I purchase an Accel 24# injector, what am I getting ? If I put that injector on my LT1, will it flow less, more, or 24# ? Isn't there a standard that injectors are rated at ?

For the most part GM is 43.5psi and Ford is 40psi, its just w/ the Gen III that things are starting to change.

My 39SVO injectors, which would flow 39lb/hr at 40psi, are now flowing 47lb/hr in my LS1.

What are gen III injectors? Are they the LS1/6 style that run at a higher pressure, or are they different than those too?
