LT1 leaking oil

Hey guys I have a 1996 Z28 with the LT1. It;s leaking oil somewhere in the back of the motor I've just had the intake gasket replaced as well as new valve cover gaskets. I know its not the rear main or antything under the bottom its coming from the back of the motor on top and running down. Is there a sending unit or something or anything else back there that is prone to leaking or any ideas of what it could be coming from. As you know it's just about impossible to see anything back there. any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yes, the oil pressure sending unit is at the rear of the intake manifold (driver side). See the link below for a detail pic.

The usual place for an oil leak from the back of the LT1, and you won't want to hear it, is the intake manifold. Run your hand along the back of the heads and back of the intake and see if it comes back oily.

Was it leaking BEFORE you had the intake gasket replaced, or did the problem only pop up AFTER you had it replaced?

Mine leaked there too, I replaced the gasket twice but finally replaced the intake. No more leaks.
