LT1 intake identification

Hi, I am looking for a back up intake manifold for my 1994 Z28 Camaro. I have searched and still can’t find how to ID the manifold. Will any 94-97 work the same? I see some have a pcv hose to the front and some have a u shaped hose. I understand 93 is different and won’t work. I have seen conflicting information on casting numbers and port shape. I am asking how to ID and also if someone has one for sale. Thank you 😎

Re: LT1 intake identification

The 94-97 manifolds are all the same. The external attachment (separate parts) are different. You would simply reuse the U-shaped PCV valve vacuum hose from your current 94, and put the correct size pipe plug (again, from your 94), in the tapped vacuum port under the throttle body. The differences in plumbing are simply different ways of using manifold vacuum to pull the crankcase gasses into the plenum.

Only the LT4 intakes have different port shapes.

Is the L99 also the same? So if it looks like mine it’s good? Thank you so much!

Re: LT1 intake identification

I have no idea if the L99 intake is the same. Was not aware you are looking at other than F-Body intakes.
