Unhappy lt1 help

Hello, im having some problems with my 1994 camaro z28. I live in Cincinnati Ohio and right now its fairly cold out (around 10-35 degrees) and ever since it has been like this my car takes forever to start meaning I have to crank on it forever for it to actually fire and keep the engine going. Its not the battery or the starter because its a really fast crank. Also today after I got it warmed up I drove it to auto zone and I was in there for 5 minutes and when I came out it still didnt wanna start but it puzzles me because it was just warmed up 5 minutes ago. Im just wondering is its just because its so cold out that maybe its just being stubborn?

Re: lt1 help

Maybe it's a problem with the fuel pump or a leaky injector(s).

Re: lt1 help

I dont smell any fuel from fuel rail or anything and I just replaced the injector o rings back in May when I fixed my blown head gasket and I replaced my fuel pump back in July. I thought maybe my injectors were dirty so I bought injector cleaner and it still hasn't shown any improvements.

Re: lt1 help

Coolant temp sensor? When they go bad they have a default of -40 degrees. If you can smell fuel, check it out. But it either sounds like fuel or spark.

Re: lt1 help

I have had the same problem. When it is raining out in the summer and extremely humid, it has trouble starting sometimes. I changed the coil to an MSD coil and was fine for a few years.....but it seems to be doing it again sometimes. I live in cleveland and it is freezing here and it will start up instantly sometimes and then not start when it is a bit warmer. Take a hair dryer to it to warm it up and if it starts up, you know its the coil.
