LT1 gurus inside need HELP!!!

I just put some hooker LT's on my 96 LT1, and i didn't buy the LT's with the egr and air pump option. i just put them on and my car doesn't run too good. Sometimes it goes up to about 5000 RPM and it stalls. MY car is throwing P0100 and P0400 codes. What is this??? MY EGR and air pump are not hooked up does this have any affect. Is there any way that i can bypass them or something so this will not happen? ANY help is appreciated Thanks!!! Any shops reccomended??

Ok thanks to the person that told me about the fuse in the relay box under the hood, i have fixed the problem with my reverse. The fuse that reads 'engine sensor' under the hood, inside the fuse relay box was burnt, i replaced it and now my P1657 code is there no more, but MAF is still being thrown, P0100. Yesterday i reset the computer by disconnecting the PCM fuses and my check engine light went away for the whole night, but when i started it this morning, that ORANGE light stared me in the face!!! I pulled out the PCM fuses and the light did not go away any help guys???

Are you aware that the OBD-II cars (96/97) have diagnostic checks that determine if the EGR and AIR are functioning correctly? The EGR detection is very difficult to defeat, without having it programmed out of the PCM. AIR may be a little easier, but the normal way to handle deletion of AIR and EGR is to have the PCM reprogrammed.

For the MAF sensor, with the key on, engine not running, pull the connector off the MAF sensor, and check the pink wire in the connector for +12V. This wire seems to have problems in the later model LT1's.

Also check the yellow wire on the MAF for a +5v ref.

Why don't you post ALL the relevant info up front, so people don't go spending their time trying to help you based on incomplete info.
