LT1 Electric waterpump guys

What size belt do you run? I bought the car that came with an electric water pump and it seriously looks like the Belt they used is too long and is loose.

Re: LT1 Electric waterpump guys

The stock water pump is not run by the serpentine belt, its gear driven off a gear on the back of the cam sprocket.

Either the stock belt has stretched, someone replaced the stocker with a too long belt, or the tensioner pulley is worn out.

Just so you are not confused, the LT1 does not use a belt. The pump is driven by the cam by way of a shaft.
