This guy is a local and his car is VERY stout. My brother can personally attest to this.

It may not see full potential without heads, but it'll still put good power down.

contrary to what he says, the larger valves and increased compression makes a pretty big difference.

As do the STD #'s instead of SAE #'s.

Yes, but even if that gave the car 20hp that's STILL 350whp. And still not much curve to the torque. It, to me, still makes better power than a smaller cam. It just has potential to make MORE.

I believe SAE was 371 and STD was 378.

And on top of that Brain dynoed 358whp GM 847 with the heads having NEVER BEEN REMOVED, and the graph otherwise looks the same, just slightly lower.

barely over 1/2 point bump in compression and 1.98/1.55 valves equals a "pretty big" difference?

i put a comp 304-8 in my car it sounds better then stock works well
with stock motor has a nice lope it is on a 114 lobe center intake lift @.50
is .500 exhaust lift is 510 and i have a flow master 3in cat back and it sounds great .
