There was only one block casting for the Gen 2 motors, how much of that motor are you going too use? Pretty well everything that is the engine interchanges.
Can hit some snags with the damper hubs from different model cars or years, knock sensors changed based on years abnd the b-body got 2.
Seems you have a 95 and all the b-bodies got the vented opti like you have, 96s have a crank position sensor but if you used that timing cover just leave the sensor there too plug the hole.

The cams are a little milder in the b-body but with boltons and good tunes make similar power too the f-body.

Are the B-Body and F-Body oil pans the same? I realize he's probably swapping over the external components, like the pan and the accessory bracket, but was curious about the oil pan.

Oil pan I am not sure.
I ended up wrenching on a trainwreck of a car that the guy had dropped in the whole f-body setup including accessories(accessories was a BAD idea cobbled is being polite). The f-body pan fit the b-body chassis fine but I never compared it too a known b-body pan and did not notice any obvious difference.

Seeing as the "f-body" pan fir the b-body I would guess they are the same, GM makes as few PN as possible right?

If someone has one a a shelf and wants to measure I can compare to one of my spares.

I know with aftermarket pans the b-body centerlink can be a clearance issue but that is usually deeper pans at the front.
