What is the largest cid that a lt1 can be bored and stroked .

Typically LT blocks are bored .030” but can be bored up to .060”. The largest stroke is 3.875”. Therefore, with a .030 over bore and 3.875” stroke you will have 396 cubic inches.

Do a search, people have built them quite a bit bigger. It's not worth it, but it has been done.

There are people here (or posted here in the past) who have done 421ci on the LT1 block, and 427ci with a sleeved LT1 block. As Rich pointed out, its not a good financial investment.
