lt1 bottom end for boost

I have a stock lt1 bottom end.. 71k miles on it.. thinkin bout plannin for a turbo.. seeing ATLEAST 7 psi, if not 10-12.. i def dont plan on having my motor blow up so ihave a few ?'s about the bottom end..

should i just go all out and buy a forged bottom end.. or what are the weakpoints of the stock one that i can buy forged parts for to replace on my stock one?

pistons..crank?..connecting rods?

thanks!

I have heard that the ring lands are weak and wont hold up to boost very well. As for the rest not sure. If you can afford to beef up the bottom end do it a little insurance won't hurt.
