got 22lb leaking injectors

I currently have stock 22lb injectors which are leaking, and causing the car to run bad (hard starts etc.). I was offered a set of 28lb corvette injectors and was wondering if they would work fine just popping them in place of the stockers or would I have to do a lot of tuning. Keep in mind that my car is stock (except for a few bolt-ons).

You wouldn't have to have a "lot" of tuning done per se, but it will NEED to be tuned, no questions asked. Talk to chips@pcmforless.com, he'll hook you up good.

It all depends on what your mods are. Even if you're bone stock I'd say that you have a few HP to pick up over a stock tune, but how much I really can't say.

If you're stock, there will be ZERO gain from larger injectors.

I was speaking more of the tune. I know for a fact that the chip guy for PCM for less has picked up a substantial amount of power off of a stock car just by tuning it.

about how much does the tuning unit cost? What king of chips/units can I use to imcrease the performance? Is it really worth it?

97, 98, 01, 02 and 03 Corvette injectors are rated as 28.8# at a pressure of 58 PSI. (4 bar)

LT1 runs at a pressure of 43.5 PSI. (3 bar)
This will make the injectors flow less than 28.8# - 24.94# to be precise. If swapped in an 94-97 LT1, they won't even need adjustments, but on a 93, you could either go with a 99-00 Camaro/Corvette set of injectors or get a replacement set of stock 22s if you don't want it tuned. The 99-00 ones were rated as 26.4 and will flow 22.86# in an LT1, which is close to the stock 93 injector flow rate.

I personally would recommend a set of stock 94-97 injectors and a tune.
Some people complained about LS1 injectors leaking in an LT1 and they needed to get a spacer to fix this problem. FWIW, I ran them for a while in my car and they did not leak.
