another for the ngk's. ditch the 'special' plugs and the bosch +4 crap...and the +2 crap...and anything bosch for that matter......

some 3.73 gears wouldnt hurt at all...and wouldnt really hurt the fuel economy either.

Getting good 60ft. times is the key, but having an M6 vs. A4 limits you to a great degree, the A4 cars run well with a stall/gears & stickies without too much worry from there 10 bolt., but us M6 guys have it harder, you want to go faster, but are 10 bolts don't like hard launches & the "shock" are stick car puts on it, the thing is, how fast do you want to go, if you cam it/gear it with other goodies, your putting more HP to a limited situation, your just going to spin any street tire more then before with added power & go knowwhere fast, this alone will **** you off, sure there are M6 guys doing the harder luanches with there geared 10 bolts on DRs & getting by with it, but MOST explode them in a hurry, then they rebuild them stronger, but they still break eventually, $$$ waisted IMO.

IMO, keep the 3.42s & leave the rearend stock (it will last longer), take some weight out, get it tuned & cammed, then get some MT DRs, keep your launches concervative (around 2500 rpms) & have fun, with the extra change, start piecing together a moser 9" with 4.11s, i do agree on the plugs, get a better set like the NGKs. You may hear a bunch of servivor stories on the 10 bolts, but if you look, you will see that most of them have an A4 tranny, sure, there going to survive ALOT longer.
