LT1 block w/ 2 piece rear main seal

How well does it hold up. I see that there is a adaptor so a 2 piece rear seal can work with LT1s 1 rear seal.

But on higher horsepower applications how does it hold up? I see cranks for a good deal but they are 2 piece real seal

Those adapters always seem to be trouble prone. I've yet to hear of one brand that consistant never leaks. Besides, with all the great one piece cranks, I wouldn't want to run an adapter anyway IMO.

Joe overtons first combo on his car that went 10.95 @ ~128 had a 2piece cast crank in it with an adaptor! Whos knows whether it leaked or not though.
