LT1 balancing, judt need some people to verify it for me
LT1 balancing, judt need some people to verify it for me
Did a search and founf there are many different opinoons of the LT1 balancing
This is what i got
The Flywheel is NOT nutrally balanced. In stock form, it is coounter wieghted to externally balance the stock motor
The Harmonic balancer IS nutrally balanced Even tho there is a pin in one side
So for us aftermarket stroker guys who have their motors nutrally balanced INTERNALLY All we need to do it have the flywheel balanced NUTRALLY
Correct?

Now I know everyone doesnt have that pin in their Harmonic Balancer so why was that put there?
a)To counter-weight the motor balance or
b)was it done seperately of the motor and it just needed that weight to nuetrally balance the dampner?
I ask this question because I had my LT1 internnally balanced so everything on the outer motor needs to be nuetrally balanced in my case..
