lt1 ??????????

i just bout a wrecked 96 z28 with a 6 speed i am striping the car and putting everything on my 69 ss nova i was wondering what i would have to do if possible to get in the 500hp range any help would be great thanks

you will be doing quite a bit of work to get that sort of power,definately put new rod and main bearings in it cause the factory bearings are NOT for hi RPM at all!
you will need great heads from Advancedinduction.com or Eportworks.com and nice solid roller 36lb inj,52mm,custom perf. tune,Longtube 1-3/4 s,3" x-pipe etc. to get anywhere near that power more like 440-480 rwhp..

It will make a big difference if you are looking at flywheel or rear wheel power numbers.
