LT with mods or Stock LS
I enjoy my lt1 with the m6 for the nice strong low end torque in my daily driver. I've driven many LS1 cars, but its just not the same. Sure its not as fast in the quarter but I don't race all the time, so I just want a quick car... and thats what I have. I couldn't be happier.
LS series motors will always be about 30hp or more over a LT1 naturally aspirated, mod for mod. IF your buying another one, spend the extra cash to get an LS1. Only good thing about the LT motors is they sound 100x better than the LS series and the torque curve of the LT motor.
