Lou's short stick worth the $?

Is Lou's short stick worth the money? I have a pro 5.0 and I was just going to cut down the stick a little bit. Is there a big difference with Lou's.... any experinces or comments on the piece?

I say hack your pro 5.0, I took about as much as I could off and still leave tread and I'm very happy with it. Best part is it was free!

I have to concur...I shortened mine, leaving a little less than an inch of thread and it is perfect!

I bought the Lou's short stick over two years ago and love it. Installation is a couple of minutes. I would definitely recommend it.
