So today i warmed up the car a drove the block and the car lost oil pressure.on the dash and the autometer gauge they arent on the same sender.so i drove back to my house and the lifters started to clater so i shut her down.

So my question is his this happened to anybody else?how did you fix it?Also for how long it ran with out oil pressure(less them a min)should i just build up my other block to drop in.

If you weren't beating on the car when it lost oil pressure I don't think you hurt anything in one minute. If the oil pickup comes loose and falls into the pan you'll see a drop in oil pressure. Try banging on the bottom of you oil pan and listen for the oil pickup bouncing (metal on metal sound).
