loss of power
loss of power
I feel that my car has lost alot of power as of the past few months. Gas mmilage is a little worse than it has been. the car has 120,000+ miles on it. Sometimes the idle feels like it has a little miss to it,just a little bit, and not that often, maybe one stop out of 75 stops.
the last tune up was about 70,000 miles.
Never changed the opti.
Dirty injectors?
Bad opti?
Bad plugs?
Knock retarding the timing?
rockers?
Any ideas? I don't know where to start.

Oh lord...... Where to start.... Well start with the cheapest, Plugs and wires. I recommend Taylor 8mm or Moroso. I use NGK plugs with no problems. Then on to O2's. 30 dollars each i think. AC delco. Still no change then go with opti an coil change. Both very simple. I guess you could also go with a fuel injection clean from any car fixing place or it DEFINITELY could be your fuel filter(which is cheap from autozone) Thats all for now.... Start replacing is all i can say....... You got a lot fo miles on your car. I have 70K on my car and i have already replaced all of these i have stated so i guess it is your time
