i have a set of le2 heads, flowed 274 @ 600 i believe. sounds good to me. i've also had these heads at 2 DIFFERENT local shops and both were impressed with them. i'm sure ai gets good heads out of there, but with EVERY company, there's always a lemon. anyways, when it came down do upgrade from my le1 cam, instead of Lloyd pocketing my $, he recomended the BEST solution for me, even when it meant me spending my money elsewhere. a guy like that doesn't chince on his work.

 

I would like to vouch for every good thing said about Lloyd. I've had my heads in two different machine shops and they were trashed both times. I tried AI first but I seemed to have some trouble getting them to call me back with answers. Maybe just a miscommunication between us. Lloyd 99% of the time answered his phone and my questions. I told him what I was looking for and what I wanted to do and he pointed me in the right direction. Now this things screams even without a tune.

EDIT:
I was asked to edit my post as it seems there may be a misunderstanding. AI was not one of the shops who worked on my heads. They looked at the heads for me, disassembled them and informed me they were of no good. They also sent back what parts were still servicable at their expense.

Just found a few other threads that you started.

I am sure that some of the other sponsors on the board (Combination Motor Sport, Advanced Induction, etc) will be happy to get you a nice head and cam package at a competeitive price. I am not sure who you are gonna decide on but you can cross me off your list.

for anyone intersted I talked to Lonnie at Dragonrace.com and was asking him about flow #'s and he said on their flow bench they are getting 300+ cfm on their stock lt-1 port jobs. He didn't fill me in on any of the costs but for anyone that is interested

with le2 heads and a cc306 with a mail order tune I put down 403rwhp. The guy who posted that information about lloyd is full of ****. His heads are awesome!!!!!!!!
