Looking for 10 degree +.050" locks that use lash caps?

Anyone know of a manufacturer or part number for a + .050" 10 degree valve lock that is setup for lash caps? I couldn't find any on Comp's website, or Crane's, or Manleys (Manley had them with beadlocks but I don't think this style bead is compatible with standard SBC valves) that were + .050" and said they were compatible with lash caps. Found plenty of them at - .050" and standard height.

I'm running 918 beesprings with .565" of lift at an installed height of 1.81". Comp's website says these coil bind at 1.14" so if that's correct and I replaced the + .050" locks with a pair of standard height locks I'd be about .055" from Comp's coil bind spec. I guess this might be in the safe range for these springs?

Hoping to order the parts this evening so any help is appreciated

Later, Michael.

Those aren't the ones you're looking for? Have you checked the install height with the standard locks already?

If so, I'm surprised it's 1.81", but that's the recommended install height from Comp, so that should be good. The reason most people use the +.050 locks is that on most LT1 heads, the beehives end up with 1.75" install height, limiting the lift to .550" instead of .600".

That part number is for locks that are described as not being machined for lash cups. I'm running the + .050 locks now with Beehives and the thin Beehive spring seats. Actual measured installed heights ranged from 1.8 to 1.815 without shims using this combo and stock length valves.

Had a rocker arm malfunction that gnarled up the top of the valve a bit so I'm trying to work around that without pulling the head.

Thanks, Michael
