lloyd elliott head porting
I talked to Lloyd almost a year ago and he went above and beyond what I expected from a head porter. He gave me some excellent advice and what to plan for with my heads. He sure has come along way way within a year too!! He learned how to use the internet!!
It depends on what parts you want to get with the heads. It starts around $700 (roughly) for the work, then add the cost of the parts you want. You provide the parts, btw.
If you're not sure what springs, valves, etc, to get - he'll help you decide and provide part #'s.
After talking to him and tracking down the parts on Summit/Jegs, I believe it came to around $1100 or so for my application. I haven't ordered yet though.. (got our 1st little one on the way.. priorities change

When he ported my LT4 heads 2 mos. ago he charged me $400 for a "street port" job, but he said he would have charged me the same for a "full port."
Now I believe he's up to $500, which is still aweseome. Dunno about you guys, but I like hand porting over CNCing any day.

Another
for Lloyd, he is local for me. He will take the time to talk to you and is very patient with his customer support. I've been to his shop and its very clean, he's a good guy to deal with as stated above.
Mine are,
int. exh.
.100 65 54
.200 137 109
.300 199 153
.400 241 174
.450 257 183
.500 265 185
.550 267 189
.600 268 192
This is with Ferrea 2.00/1.56 valves.
I'm also going with a cam from Bret, that Lloyd seems to think will complement his heads nicely. But unfortunately this won't happen till next spring. Anyone care to donate some cash and or parts to this fine cause?
How about some cheap labor while I'm at it.

Excellent customer service, I wish every transaction I make could go that smooth with the same results. Some people answer my emails within a few days, no big deal, they're prolly very busy...but Lloyd, whom is also very busy, always finds a way to give you a detailed reply literally within hours
WILL DEAL WITH AGAIN
