lloyd elliott head porting

Hey guys, where do I get info on this elusive lloyd elliott head master? I surfed the net and I couldn't find anything on him. I want him to CNC my stock LT1 heads. Please help. Any info would be appreciated.

I was very impressed with Lloyd...top notch guy in my opinion. I took them up to a local "speed" shop and had them flow them and check them out...long story about the shop, I did a thread on it a while back, they are total a-holes. Anyways, they thought they were cnc and actually a friend of mine that does performance motors thought the same. They flowed the same, and they couldn't believe the numbers(they said over 260 cfm was impossible) So, the quality is unbelieveable and so is the customer service. Talk about customer service, I've got pages upon pages of emails from Lloyd...he takes the time to know everything you want and suggests things that could help better your set up. At .5000 mine flowed 268/177.4 and at .6500 mine flowed 279.1/191.2. Those are really good numbers, plus mine were 97 castings which are thinner. He is very consistent also!! So, would I do it again??...DEFINATELY!!

Hey pennys58, what did you pay for that port job? Those are some pretty good flow #'s. I am possibly pulling the heads off this winter and need a good port job, unless I go aftermarket. But from what I understand, fully ported Lt1 heads can make power just as well as some the best heads that are midly ported. Well worth keeping the stockers.

Lloyd Elliott: Excellent customer service, I wish every transaction I make could go that smooth with the same results. Some people answer my emails within a few days, no big deal, they're prolly very busy...but Lloyd, whom is also very busy, always finds a way to give you a detailed reply literally within hours WILL DEAL WITH AGAIN

Definitely not a "head master" but descent work at a descent price.

You can pay more and get better but you can also pay more and get less as well. It is tough to get the same work for this kinda $$$.

just to put in a plug, I haven't heard anything but great praise for Lloyd's work. I've also had a few local people tell me that its impossible to get those kind of numbers on LT1 castings cause there isn't enough room...I'm definitely getting Lloyd to do my heads as soon as I can.

Lloyd's porting is great. I know the CMotorsports guys pretty well and even they say that Lloyd does great work. So, even the high dollar people appreciate good work for a good price.

Lloyd is the man. I had him do my heads and he even emailed me pictures as the heads were in progress. I would definately have him do another set for me and recommend him to anyone else that is wanting good head work for a very fair price
