Lifter question

im looking at a summit book and im about to buy the Hot Cam kit and it says that lifters are not include, can i use my stock ones? or can you give me a place to get aftermarket ones?

also do i have to changed anything else, its a pretty much stock lt1 in a 93 z28

well the current motor has about 500 to 1000, its a freshy. and the trans has about 300 to 800 miles on it.

yea but for how long, cuz i would rather spend the extra money up front then have something break sooner or later.

really the stock lifter is alot stronger than many give credit for, only time to replace it imo is if there is visible problems or high mileage just to be on the safe side

In other words the stock lifters are a very good set, especially if you are using the LT4 Hotcam kit, you lifters don't have enough miles to replace them I've seen people use 100,000 mile lifters without a single issue the only reason to replace them is if they are giving you problems or they are excessively scored. You will definately be fine.
